Phoenix Lights UFO Mystery 2007: Former AZ Gov Symington Admits To Seeing “Craft Of Unknown Origin”

On March 13, 1997, unexplained lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. I was in town when the mysterious event took place. While the authorities want you to believe that these were merely military flares, former Arizona Governor Fife Symington says there is much more to the tale . Symington now admits that he was among the hundreds of witnesses who saw a huge triangular object in the sky over Phoenix. The former governor has made a number of statements on the Phoenix Lights mystery to Leslie Kean, Special Envoy to the Prescott Daily Courier. These statements were included in an article by Kean published in the Courier March 18, 2007. In this article, the former Arizona Governor describes what he saw, March 13, 1997: ”It was enormous and inexplicable,” he said. “Who knows where it came from? Many people have seen and I’ve seen too. Symington was referring to an object in V-shaped with lights on it light in the sky over Phoenix ten years ago. According to some, the lights of the size of a football field, while others said they could have been a mile long. He continued to describe his own observation of the triangular object: “It was spectacular. And she could not have been flares because it was too symmetrical. “The former Arizona Governor revealed the object to a trade” of unknown origin. “ While Symington has not been the only political figure in Arizona to comment on the Northern Phoenix, he is the only admission they were more than just decoys. When questioned to comment on the Phoenix Lights in 2000, Senator John McCain said: “This has never been fully clarified .” He quickly added: “But I must say that I do not have evidence whatsoever of aliens or ufos. “ Fife Symington says he called the commander of Luke Air Force Base, Arizona Department of Public Safety and a General in the National Guard of Arizona in 1997 to inquire about the lights. None of them were able to provide all the answers and seemed “perplexed.” One problem with the comments were the multitude of explanations available at the time. The V-shaped object was observed lights in the sky around 8:30 pm. The lights that were videotaped and seen around 10:30 am are what most people call the Phoenix Lights. They are often described as flares, but not everyone agrees. The people who filmed the event 10:30 PM Back in 1997, say the lights were in a triangular shape. Some of them had seen military flares were dropped on other occasions, and that was something completely different. But , authorities stayed with the flares explanation and clarified the earlier events, observation of Comet Hale-Bopp. Synmington called for an investigation into the Phoenix Lights shortly after the comments filed, but the statement was a hollow one. Either it has not been able to obtain cooperation from military authorities, or he never made much effort. But , with mounting pressure from the public, ufo researchers and organizations that collect new, it had to take any action. On June 19, 1997, Governor Fife Symington held a press conference in Phoenix. Dressing one of his collaborators as a foreigner, the Governor said that the Phoenix lights were flares and nothing to disturb anyone. He also said he was only joking when he ordered the Department of Public Safety in Arizona (Arizona State Police) to investigate the comments. Today, he still defends those actions. ”I wanted people to relax and cool down, so I introduced a small levity. But I never felt that the overall situation is a matter of ridicule, “Symington says about the infamous press conference. But everyone laughed. Former Phoenix City Councilor Frances Barwood made a serious effort to investigate the observations in 1997. In his recent statements, Barwood was unable to convince federal authorities to interview even one of the seven hundred witnesses that she had talked about the Phoenix Lights. Huge surprise! Being an elected official is not enough when it comes to getting answers about ufos from the army. Just question current Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. Janet Napolitano called for an investigation into the Phoenix Lights during her 1997 campaign to become Arizona Attorney General and was elected to that position in 1998. Despite his former post of Federal District Attorney in Arizona, one can assume that it was served in the same plate of disinformation from the U.S. military as the rest of us have received. What does she reckon of Symington new revelation and the Phoenix Lights overall? We questioned and we await its response. My own experience earlier that day was frightening and linked to one or two comments of March 13, 1997 probable. I was driving in from Flagstaff (north to south) on I-17 in early afternoon. The day when traffic was already heavy and nearly stalled, the State Patrol vehicle appeared and caused the vehicle to stand on the tracks of the extreme right. A few minutes later, military vehicles loaded with troops and equipment covered by tarps flying by at high speed. The military procession lasted several minutes. I was later told by other drivers who have participated in a seminar I gave in Phoenix that the same thing that happened that night and the next day. Those who attended my seminar reported being nearly ‘buzzed’ by the lights while driving on various local roads. They described huge balls of light that seemed to come down very low and keep pace with traffic. Apart from all the reports of witnesses, more than a few people took photos and video of the Phoenix Lights. Huge triangular objects have been a constant part of the UFO phenomenon from the very beginning. Some reckon that the comments triangle date to prehistoric times and developed many observations that may have occurred in the late 1800s. Most witnesses at that time made kites, they were somewhat experimental. Then there were all the unexplained observations triangle in the 1950s, with and without light. Two of the most well-known was concerned the United States and British military. Beginning September 13, 1952, military personnel on ships involved in the NATO operation Mainbrace seen and followed by a triangular shaped object flying at over 900 mph between Denmark and Norway. Witnesses said the object emitted a bright white light. There were other UFO sightings during the NATO exercise and may have included crafts and saucer-shaped cigar. In July 1955, a dark colored boomerang hovered completely still over Lasham Airfield, Hampshire, England, during competitions Gliding National. Considered by trained military observers, experienced civilian pilots and untrained spectators, the object hovered for thirty seconds before booting the south-west. A triangular UFO caught the attention of the world’s press in November 1989 when a huge black triangle with lights twinkling lights below was perceived by citizens and police in Liege, Belgium. More comments followed. In 1990, the Belgian army officials announced that two F-16 fighter jet scrambled from a NATO base pursued a triangular shaped object for over an hour. A jet locked the object on radar. On the driver screen, it looked like a diamond. There have been recent sightings of unexplained lights near Phoenix and triangular shaped craft over New Mexico and other parts of the Southwest.
